Jury voting continues to shake the Eurovision world!

It has been 3 months after the end of the contest and the way jurors voted continues to shake the Eurovision world. The main argument between fans and delegations is that EBU doesn’t have the mechanism to double-check that all rules are followed when it comes to the formation of a jury.
The main issue comes down to this rule "No member of a jury shall be connected in any way with any of the participating songs entered and/or artists performing in the contest in such a way that they cannot vote in complete independence and impartiality.” Unfortunately, in many cases this rule is breached, and below we just showcase two examples that have been sent to us:

In Sweden, juror Adnan Sahurich, is a dancer that had been employed by Sacha Jean Baptiste, the stage director of the Swiss and Cypriot entry. Despite the fact that this was even mentioned on his instagram profile, the screenshot of which circulated among several Eurovision fan pages, EBU and SVT didn’t dismiss him. Eventually, he ranked both entries staged by his former employer very highly: the Cypriot entry 1st (!) and the Swiss entry 4th.

In Greece, juror Manolis Pantelidakis had closely worked on several occasions with the stage director of the Russian and Spanish entry Fokas Evangelinos. He was not dismissed as he should have, and eventually ranked the Russian entry 1st but, to be fair, also ranked the Spanish one low (15th).

To be clear we don’t imply in any way, with the examples that have been sent to us, that the two jurors acted on purpose. What we are saying is that the reason this particular rule exists is because the sentimental connection of a juror with a participating artist could affect his judgement, and that EBU unfortunately doesn't have the mechanism to run a full background check for each juror submitted by the broadcasters.
